A unity grown over time
Alongside the three central buildings, the former farm catches the eye; today it houses an art gallery and the wood-chip heating system. A little off to the side, an old mill and a sawmill from the mid-19th century recall the once-lively activity in the hamlet.

The Klösterle
Retreats, seminars, conferences and Taizé prayers, for example, take place here. The community of sisters offers the chance to take part in the Liturgy of the Hours, scripture conversation and shared meals. And with that, the chance to become aware of oneself, to experience faith in community and to encounter Christian spirituality.
The building, erected by Chaplain Stefan Krismer ("Karrer Stöffele"), dates from the mid-19th century. In its attic it houses the prayer and liturgy room "Horeb" and the intimate "Elijah's Cave" with the Most Holy. It also houses the sisters who live at Kronburg, guest rooms, seminar rooms and a small shop.

While the 14th-century castle sits strategically at the highest point, the hamlet of Kronburg nestles into a hollow between valley floor and sky. For more than 300 years, people have brought their wishes, requests and words of thanks to the 18th-century pilgrimage church. Pilgrims on the Way of St. James stop here, as do hikers, cyclists and day-trippers.
